The Early Worm Club at River City Players

Katherine Koller’s one-act play, The Early Worm Club, is presented by the River City Players in Campbell River, B.C. as part of their One-Act Series, September 11-14, 2025. The Early Worm Club, directed by Annie Smith, is a comedy in the early morning woods between an avid bird watcher and a couple of late-night partygoers. By the light of early morning, Millie (Mary-Lynn Culbert), a newly obsessive birdwatcher, discovers Jarret (Barb Withers) in the woods. Randy (Eileen Lovestrom), Jarret’s designated driver, has heard Millie’s voice in his dreams. In a dance around the trees, Millie’s club of one becomes two.
